How this list is put together
- Independents first. Owner-run places within roughly three kilometres of the golf course. Chains and mall tenants are excluded — not because they're bad, but because they don't need the help and you already know they exist.
- Only entries I could verify. Every phone number below was published in a directory or on the business's own listing. Where I found a business but couldn't confirm a number, it isn't here yet.
- Nobody paid to be on this page. There is no charge, no sponsorship, and no preferred placement. If that ever changes it will say so at the top in large type.
- It will grow. This is the first version, built from what I could confirm.

Almost certainly there are good places near Peel Village that aren't here — independent cafés, tailors, tutors, electricians, roofers and cleaners barely publish anywhere I can check, which means they're invisible to a list like this and no reflection on the business.
